Ellie the Miss Soliloquy

好久沒有新增了因為我讓我的英文網誌復活了! 

在沒有用無名以前我就開始在那裡打網誌  從2005~2008 那裡真是充滿我的回憶

最近突然很有靈感想打英文所以就申請了新帳號  打算重新經營  

不過以前的朋友大部分都消失了  不 應該是說 跟我一樣後來都跑去用myspace了哈

現在只剩下那位fake canadian  我想只有魯咪知道我在說誰哈哈  he's a really funny guy

所以啦  最近都在那裡打網誌  痞客幫就被我遺棄了!  但是為了Placebo我決定要來更新一下!

我剛剛其實已經在英文網誌簡潔的打了一篇  本來想要直接複製貼上來  但這樣好像顯得我很懶而且我想應該沒人想看所以....

anway今天中午去7-11拿了讓我覺得等了一個世紀久的Placebo新專輯Battle For The Sun

(可惡博客來沒有送海報 早知道我就在映象定了  我好悔恨阿 為了海報多付個運費是值得的)

我買的是歐盤限量版  看到包裝時說真的憂喜參半

喜的是覺得專輯好有質感  內頁好美   憂的是這種包裝我就要去另外買cd盒來裝cd和dvd

要不然好容易受潮喔!!!!而且要小心翼翼的翻他...

oh my prince Brian Molko!!!瞧他那俊美的樣子  歲月不減他的性感阿XD

這次新專輯有別上次Meds的黑暗風格  Battle For The Sun說要走陽光路線

之前看XBOX Live Xtival 09 interview的時候 Molko說過

"looking back on meds, which we felt was quite ??? 

(有誰知道他到底講什麼?這個字一直聽不出來 my english sucks!)

and quite somber, very much like a kind of  black and white granny film....

this time we wanted to do something else, we had hope in it,

you know and that actually have more color in it...." 

然後在NME和另一個我忘記在哪看到的news上也有寫:

"Not hard rock and it’s not pop, it’s probably hard pop.

I think we’ve made a record which is almost the flipside of ‘Meds’.

We've made a record about choosing life, and choosing to live,

about stepping out of the darkness and into the light.

Not necessarily turning your back on the darkness because it's there, it's essential;

it's a part of who you are, but more about the choice of standing in the sunlight instead" 

Well I like the darkness in Placebo's music but I'm glad to see their change as well.

在聽完之前battle for the sun和for what it's worth的時候就很期待這張專輯到底會是如何

上禮拜聽完fan playback之後我覺得新專輯完全沒讓我失望 

雖然今天看歌詞的時候覺得跟我想像的陽光有點差距 

Placebo終究是Placebo 而且也如同Brian說的 darkness還是在阿 只是他們選擇走出shadow罷了吧

聽了又聽聽了又聽之後

目前我最喜歡的三首歌- The Never-Ending Why, Julien還有Kings of Medicine

Ashtray Heart也滿喜歡  而且這首歌名就是他們還沒取名叫Placebo之前的名字說

第一次聽到devil in the details的時候我覺得好熟悉喔 總覺得很像以前的某一首歌

但我又想不起是哪一首歌 = =a  算了反正聽久了他就只會是devil in the details 不會像哪首歌了

然後來看一下new drummer Steve吧  有一張他的大獨照耶(而且比起Stefan的照片他的好清晰...)

對於這個新鼓手嘛.....我只能說他打鼓的時候真的很有活力...害我看vid的時候很難不注意到他xD

我想我廢話扯了很多  最後我想講的就是

Placebo我等不及在Music Terminals看你們了!!!!!!!

I've been waiting you for so long!!

btw 有沒有人也要去看阿~~?
